This browser filters the shape library by family and designation so you can pull properties without leaving the page. Values are reference data aligned with AISC manual conventions — always confirm critical dimensions against the mill cert or current Manual edition for fabrication.

Property cheat sheet

d / bf / tf / tw define envelope and fillet geometry; k is the design distance into the web fillet used for cope and welding clearances. W is nominal lb/ft; A is area; Ix/Iy, Sx/Sy, and Zx/Zy support bending checks. HSS listings emphasize outside dimensions and wall thickness — watch corner radii when nesting fittings.
