Charting data you cannot paste into a web service
Most online chart makers upload your rows to render them. That rules them out for revenue figures before earnings, patient counts, headcount planning, or anything under NDA. ChartsLogic renders in your browser with a local plotting engine, so the CSV you paste never leaves the page — you can confirm it by pulling the network cable and charting anyway.
The export path is the same: PNG and SVG are generated client-side and saved straight to your downloads folder. An SVG drops into Illustrator or a LaTeX document with the text still editable, which is the difference between a usable figure and a screenshot.
Ten chart types, chosen for different questions
Line and area for change over time, combo for a rate against a volume on two axes, bar and pie for comparison and composition, funnel for stage drop-off, histogram and scatter for distribution and correlation, and waterfall and Sankey for how a total got from one figure to another.
Picking the wrong one is the most common charting mistake, which is why every chart maker on the free site carries a written guide on when the type applies and when it misleads — stacked areas that hide a declining series, pie charts with fourteen slices, scatter plots overplotted to a solid block. The license removes the ads from those pages; the guidance stays free.

What data formats can I paste?
Comma or tab separated text, which covers a copy out of Excel, Google Sheets, or a database client. Wide format with one column per series and long format with a category column both work.
Is the desktop app available now?

How large a dataset will it handle?
Rendering happens in your browser, so the practical ceiling is a few tens of thousands of points before interaction gets sluggish. For a scatter that dense, bin it into a histogram or sample it — the plot will read better anyway.
